•GRACE BRIELLE HALLECK,
She's slammed sixteen shot glasses down
and whispered silently, kiss me slowly to my death.
It's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I ain't never gonna shut you out
Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace

• INVESTIGATION,
well, my name is grace brielle halleck and i was born on april 8th, 1993. i was born and raised in the city that never sleeps, aka new york city. although, my family wasn't exactly the whole sterotypical new york family you see in the movies. y'know, the ones that own a mansion with three pools, a hot tub, and a tennis court. yeah, my family was basically the opposite of that. our closest thing to a pool was a puddle out in the street. we really didn't have any money and when we did get money, it'd be gone in a second thanks to the bills. so, i never usually got all these expensive clothes and things that other kids got. it never bothered me though, since i have see no point. clothes are clothes, right?
anyways, my father, andrew neil williams, is...or was a laywer, i guess you could say. i didn't really know him, just the occasionaly birthday card here and there. he walked out on my mother when she found out that she was pregnant. he, i guess, wasn't ready for a child, so he freaked out and left. although, he came back in contact with my mom after she gave birth and my mom kind of forbid him to come and see me. so, i never actually met him. i've talked to him on the phone a few times and got the cards, but that's it. although, i found out that he died a few days ago. one of his "people" called and told me a few days ago. they're suppose to be reading his will in a few days and they want me to go because he left me something..probably his tooth brush or something, i don't know. my mother doesn't want me to go though..
ah, my mother. she's my rock and i love her to death. she's the principal at my school. you'd think that it'd bother me, but it doesn't. i find it cool that she's the principal at our school. besides, i get to hear about all the gossip with other teachers at times, which is pretty cool, i guess.
• PUBLICITY,
i've been sleeping around with a teacher at the school, --- --- AMBROSIO when i have a boyfriend, --- --- KINGSLEY. i also recently found out that i have hepititis c, but i'm too scared to tell anyone.
grace brielle hendrix couldn't help but let a soft sigh escape her lips as she watched the light rain fall down on the windshield in front of her and onto the light green grass outside the car window. she always hated the rain, seeing as sh was raised in a place that never usually got rain. it would rain about two times a year and it usually wouldn't last that long, which made her extremely happy. but, once she was adopted into a family that lived in la push, she had to try her best to not complain or even whine about the rain whenever it decided to pour, which usually once every week, and what a joy that was. grace always got frustrated whenever she woke up to find the sun hidden among the gray clouds and the rain falling upon the ground, which was usually everyday, which usually ended up making a very cranky grace.
brushing her hair out of her face as the silver car came to a stop, grace unbuckled her seat belt and opened her car door. "we're here," her adoptive father, lucas hendrix, spoke as he turned off the engine and got out of the car, shutting the door behind him. when grace was six years old, her parents died in a car accident while they were on their way to pick grace up from her vocal lessons. the roads were slippery that winter night, which led to their car getting out of control and crashing. grace always felt like it was her fault after that day, and her other family members agreed on that, which is why none of them would take her into their family, which led to grace being adopted into a nice family in la push. although, that was years ago. now, her adoptive parents were divorced and grace was living in forks with her adoptive mother while her brother, carter, stayed in la push with their father. during the school year, grace would usually spend the weekends with her father and go back to forks for school during the week. but now that it was summer, grace was bound to be spending more time at her fathers house, which she was kind of excited for. eight days out of the whole month to spend time with her brother and father wasn't enough for her. grace looked up at the large white house that she had grown quite fond of over the years as she closed her car door, slowly shoving her hands into her jean pockets as she pulled a small smile onto her face. she knew that she was going to have a lot of fun spending a few weeks here, seeing as she had some friends in la push. but mostly, she was excited to spend some time with her brother.
grace brushed her bangs out of her face as she walked to the trunk of her father's car as she watched him open it. she went to grab her light blue suit case, but stopped once her father quickly grabbed it and took it out, along with her black bag. instantly, grace grabbed her black guitar case, before shutting the trunk of the car. she adjusted her grip on the handle of the guitar case as she followed her father up onto the deck of their home...or, grace's second home. lucas quickly opened up the door of their home and walked in, setting her bags down by the stairs. grace slowly followed her father in, shutting the front door behind her. her hazel eyes slowly gazed around the house. not a lot had changed since her last visit two weeks ago. then again, nothing really did change when it came to the house. it had basically stayed the same since she first moved there.
"do you need help bringing your bags up to your room? grace's eyes shot over to her father, who was standing by the staircase still. it was always usually awkward for grace to be around her adoptive father, mostly because she never really got to know him, which is why she moved with her mother. her father was usually away for work when grace was there. even if he was there, he would be sitting in his lazy boy chair with a beer in his hand watching the football game. grace slowly shook her head in response as she walked over to her bags. "no, i think i can manage. i'll probably have to take two trips, but i'll be fine." and with that final word, lucas hendrix gave a nod then wandered into the kitchen. grace's hazel eyes watched him until he disappeared around the corner, which made her let out a small sigh. she bent down and picked up her bag, slinging it over her left shoulder, before picking up her light blue suitcase, before heading up the oak staircase and into her bedroom, instantly dropping everything on the floor when she could.
